This is a temporary/seasonal Position. Hours of operation are from 4:00am Until 12:30pm
Monday through Friday mostly during the months of May through August or as needed.

There may be other times when there may be a need to work a few weeks in the event that there is a need for more staffing.

Must be available to work weekends occasionally.

Position Summary Information

Basic Function

General Housekeeping

Perform the duties and responsibilities of this role at all times in a fashion that supports the College’s commitment to creating an inclusive college of academic excellence where a variety of people and perspectives are welcome, and to providing an environment where people from all races, ethnicities, national origins, genders, sexual orientations and backgrounds may succeed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Housekeeping duties to include:

*Emptying trash cans and ashtrays.
*High dusting.
*Spot cleaning and sanitizing.
*Floor care (i.e. Mopping, vacuuming, urethane, etc.)
*Bathroom cleaning.
*Cleaning buildings on a daily basis.
*Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to read and follow simple instructions.
Demonstrated work ethic in past jobs.
Great attitude demonstrated in past work experience.
Willingness to learn and improve skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who demonstrate success in recruiting, retaining, mentoring and / or actively engaging with under-represented and underserved populations both in the workplace and in the broader community.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift forty (50) pounds..
